Acrylic Nails

Acrylic nails are colourful and creative as well as being very fashionable and many people wear them during the summer.

The price range of acrylic nails are from £35 for a full set and £30 just for acrylic tips, It keeps increasing with the standard of the nail expert. However, you should not be paying anything more than £60.

Acrylic nails are usually not a problem, however nails that aren’t fitted properly can cause damage to the nail bed which can cause problems linking to nail growth.

When it comes to musical usage some musicians who play stringed instruments sometimes wear acrylic nails to help them while playing it.

Popular types of nail designs are designs such as: Victoria Secret Bombshell, black with multicoloured glitter and acrylic floral designs with nude paint but of course everyone is different and there are a range of different designs to choose from.

At first a set of acrylic nails can be uncomfortable but you soon get used to them, however it can cause a burning sensation if it gets onto the skin but this can usually be avoided if a thin layer of primer is applied to the nail by the nail expert.

When it comes to removing acrylic nails you will need acetone, saturate one cotton ball per nail in warmed acetone, then place the cotton balls on the tips of your fingers. Wrap them tightly against the acrylic nail using strips of aluminium foil. Let your nails soak in the acetone for 30 minutes.
