Why Recycle ?
Recycling protects the environment, the more we recycle the less waste that is dumped in a hole in the ground. It costs less – disposing of non-recyclable waste costs approximately £300 for every tonne collected. Every tonne of waste that is recycled saves money.
Your blue bin collection days are changing
From 20th March 2018 your blue bin will be collected every two weeks rather than every three. This gives you more capacity for paper, cardboard and drink cartons, which will result in less waste being sent to landfill.
